Die with the Stars: Album Release

I wrote this album with Afamefuna Onyebadi, a Master's student in Audio Arts at Syracuse University. We wanted to create an album that combined trap and metal elements. Additionally, the theme of the album was isolation, love, and loss during the 2020 pandemic.

We created most of the album together in the Newhouse Audio Studios at Syracuse University, but completed it remotely after the lockdowns began. Afam explored producing with live electric guitars, and I explored combining vocal techniques found in rock and hip-hop. Jessie Zhai and I collaborated to create the album art and promotional material, which will be released soon!
